Pizza You Can Dance To

Looking for a funky (the good kind) slice in Austria? Pizzeria Disco Volante (meaning flying disc) is where you need to be. Its wood-fired brick oven is designed to look just like a giant disco ball. The glittering oven is covered in approximately 7500 hundred mirror tiles and rotates (about one revolution/minute) as it cooks delicious pies for hungry customers.

Designers from the madame mohr collective in Austria created the kooky kiln to help the pizzeria “carry the atmosphere of a southern Italian pizzeria but also transport the lightness of the “Italo-Disco” era of the 1970s and 80s.”
